Who is Charlotte Vega?
Charlotte Elizabeth Vega was born in Madrid, Spain, on 10 February 1994 – her zodiac sign is Aquarius and she holds Spanish nationality. She is an actress and a model, perhaps best known for her lead role in the Irish gothic horror movie “The Lodgers”, which also starred Bill Milner and Eugene Simon, directed by Brian O’Malley. The story follows twins Edward and Rachel who have to follow the rules set by the mysterious presence known as The Lodgers if they don’t want to die – the film won four awards and was nominated for four others.
Childhood, family and education
Charlotte was raised as an only child in Madrid by her father who is from London, England, and her mother who is from Barcelona – her maternal grandparents are from Andalusia. Charlotte became interested in acting while attending equestrian school, and chose to take improvisation classes. After attending these acting classes for over one year, she chose to quit school at the age of 17 to focus solely on her acting career. She also considered matriculating and enrolling at a college to pursue a degree, but this is currently set aside as she is making her way up in the film industry.
Roles in movies
She made her debut film appearance in 2012 when she portrayed Dama de Honor 2 in the Spanish action horror movie “REC 3: Genesis”, directed by Paco Plaza and starring Leticia Dolera and Diego Martin – it was rumored that Charlotte would reprise her role in the movie’s fourth part, but she wasn’t invited to join the cast.
In 2013, she appeared in two movies, portraying Eve in “Los Inocentes” which failed to attract much attention, and playing Monica Meldrum in the psychological thriller “Another Me”, starring Sophie Turner, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Claire Forlani, and which is closely based on the eponymous novel written by Catherine MacPhail.
Her first notable performance was in the Spanish drama movie “The Misfits Club”, in which she portrayed the lead character Valeria and starred alongside Alex Maruny and Ivana Baquero – the story follows students who are all attending group counseling sessions at their school, all for different reasons.
The year 2017 was very busy for Charlotte who appeared in six movies, including “The Lodgers”. She started the year with the title role in the short film “Danielle”, then portrayed Kattie in “The Bookshop” which starred Emily Mortimer and Patricia Clarkso – the three other movies she appeared in are “Proyecto tiempo”, “American Assassin” and “Provenance”.
Two of her latest roles in movies have been in the film “La Banda” in 2018, which failed to attract much attention, and “Wrong Turn: The Foundation” which is set to be released in late 2020.
Roles in TV series
Charlotte made her debut TV series appearance in 2013, when she starred as Rita Aranda in 53 episodes of the Spanish telenovela “El secreto de Puente Viejo” – the series aired from 23 February 2011 to 15 July 2020. and is the second longest-running Spanish series of all time.
In 2014 and 2015, Charlotte played Sofia in seven episodes of the critically acclaimed drama series “The Refugees”, created by Adolfo Valor, Ramon Campos and Gema R., and which follows millions of refugees who come from the future to settle in the present.
In 2015, she starred as Lucia Marquez in 12 episodes of the Spanish drama series “Velvet”, and two of Charlotte’s most recent roles on TV have been in the mini-series “Lo que escondian sus ojos” in 2016, and the American fantasy web series “Warrior Nun” in 2020, in which she portrayed the supporting character Zori.
Love life and husband
Charlotte is very secretive when it comes to the boys she might have dated and even though many of her fans have asked about her current relationship status, she has chosen not to respond to their questions. However, there are rumors circulating the internet that Charlotte is a married woman, and that she and her husband exchanged wedding vows back in 2019 in a private ceremony attended by only a few people.
There has been no evidence to support the alleged marriage, and Charlotte hasn’t commented on this either.
It is believed that she was in a long-term relationship only once, and that with a non-celebrity male with whom she was seen on several occasions between 2016 and 2017. According to the rumors, they met at a party in 2015 and dated until late 2017, as her fans haven’t seen the two together since than.
As of August 2020, Charlotte is single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and interests
Charlotte is a huge lover of animals and her favorites are dogs – she has a pet dog which can often be seen featured in her pictures on Instagram.
She likes to travel, and her job as an actress has taken her all around Europe, as well as to the US on multiple occasions visiting New York and California among other states.
Charlotte is in love with nature, and prefers to spend her free time outdoors and away from huge cities, mostly enjoying being in national parks surrounded by trees and free animals – she is against zoos, and believes animals should be released to live in their natural habitats.
In her spare time, she watches movies starring her favorite actors Jim Carrey and Angelina Jolie such as “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective – When Nature Calls”, “Liar Liar” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”.

Charlotte’s age is 26. She has long blonde hair and blue eyes, is 5ft 6ins (1.68m) tall and weighs around 120lbs (54kgs).
