Kimberly was raised alongside her siblings by her father who was a taxi driver, and her mother who was a cashier at a local supermarket.
She grew up being interested in music as there was always something playing in her house, mostly blues and jazz.
Kimberly started singing at elementary school and appearing in school plays, while she was also interested in other things such as playing soccer and dancing. She dreamt about becoming a famous musician while attending high school, and after she began experimenting with music, she developed an interest in sound engineering. Donnie was raised alongside his eight siblings (only one younger) by their father Donald Edmond Wahlberg Sr. who was a delivery driver, and their mother Alma Elaine who worked as a bank clerk – Donnie’s father was married once before Alma, and has three children from that marriage. When Donnie was 13, his parents divorced.
