Gabriel Armando de Abreu professionally known as Gabriel Paulista is a Brazilian professional football player who plays for the Spanish club Valencia CF as a central defender. He started playing football for the youth team of Taboao da Serra and moved to the youth setup of Vitoria in 2009. He made his senior debut for Vitoria on 7 March 2010. On 15 August 2013, he moved to La Liga club Villarreal, signing a five-year deal with the club. He spent a season-and-a-half with Villarreal where he made 37 appearances for the club.
