Beverly D’Angelo is an American actress who gained recognition for her role ‘Ellen Griswold’ for the movie ‘Vacation’ sequels from 1983-2015. Further, she has appeared in many films and series, earning a quite few nominations including Golden Globe.

The actress was born as Beverly Heather D’Angelo on 15 November 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, the USA. She was born as the daughter to musician father, Constantino ‘Gene’ D’Angelo, a bass player and also a TV station manager at WBNS-TV in Columbus. Her mother Priscilla Ruth was a Violinist. Further, she has three siblings; Jeff, Tim, and Tony. In addition, she has a mixed ethnicity of Italian, English, Irish, Scottish, and German.
She has attended Upper Arlington High School in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The Upper Arlington Alumni Association awarded Beverly in 2009 as a Distinguished Award for achievement in her career. Other than this, there is no information on her further education.

By the mid-90s, she worked in independent movies and returned to the stage where she won Theatre World Award for her role in play ‘Simpatico’. After a decade, she recorded an Emmy Award nomination for her role in the TV movie version of ‘A Streetcar named desire’. Thereafter, she appeared in the lead role in television movies like ‘Slow Burn’, ‘Judgemental Day: The John List Story, and ‘Sweet Temptation’.
