Early life and education

Mike was raised in New Jersey alongside his younger brother Collin by their parents – their father is a policeman, and their mother is working at a kindergarten. The two brothers began playing video games at a very early age, while they were also active outside as they played soccer and basketball with their friends.

Mike attended a local high school in Freehold Township in New Jersey, and while there played tennis and soccer, but didn’t manage to make his way into the school’s basketball team. Upon matriculation, Mike enrolled at St. John’s University located in New York City, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2014.
