Early life and childhood
Izzy was raised in New York City by his mother who is a theatre actress, and his father who is a professor at a local high school; he doesn’t have any siblings. Motivated by his mother, Izzy became interested in acting at a very early age, and his parents enrolled him at The Professional Arts School where he practiced his skills in acting, voice acting, and dancing.
He soon began appearing in his school’s plays, such as the “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, while still staying focused on studying, and playing sports. Izzy is a soccer player and a guitarist, and he is planning on enrolling at college after he matriculates from high school.
Career as an actor
Izzy made his debut film appearance in 2012 when he was seven years old, but gained recognition only after being featured in the short film “Star Stuff: The Story of Carl Sagan” shot in 2015. Carl Sagan was born on 9 November 1934 and died on 20 December 1996 from bone marrow cancer, and was an astronomer, educator, and author; the short film follows his life, especially his love of life as Carl married three times.
In 2017 Izzy was invited to appear in the “Party Dress” short drama film, which stars Lily Ewald, Alexandra Girellini, and follows Harper Klein who is celebrating his 12th birthday wearing a pink party dress. In the same year, he was cast to portray Tween One in the “Brad’s Status” comedy drama film, which stars Ben Stiller and Austin Abrams and follows a father who is taking his son to see the colleges on the East Coast, while he meets a friend along the way who makes him feel bad for the life he’s living.
Izzy became somewhat famous after being invited to play Sadie Marks in the “Good Girls” comedy crime TV series, which began airing in 2018.
