Early life and family
Jennifer “Jae” Pfautch was born on 4 January 1983, in Saint Louis, Missouri USA, so she holds American nationality and her zodiac sign is Capricorn. She has several siblings, though she’s never mentioned their names. She once shared that her father brought her up in such a way that she became a worrier. She wrote on her Instagram account that he was ‘smart, skeptical and capable of staying in control of most things’.
That helped a lot as the family was well provided for, but these features of her father made it difficult for Jennifer to deal with her own feelings and relationship she had with other people: ‘I can’t remember a moment where my Dad was lighthearted. I always wondered when the day would come where there wasn’t something that needed his worry and attention’. However, Jennifer is now working on her anxiety and worries being aware of the reasons of these feelings, and it goes well.
Since her early years Jennifer has liked reading books, drawing and painting; she’s also liked swimming since she was five years old. Jennifer shared that her mother has always been very supportive; she once even agreed to celebrate Jennifer’s birthday on 4 April instead of 4 January, as Jennifer complained she couldn’t stand the cold and gloom of winter and wanted her birthday to be transferred to Spring. To her amazement, her mother agreed!
Educational background
Jennifer matriculated from her local high school in Saint Louis in 2001, then enrolled at California Lutheran University, from which she graduated with a BA in literature in 2004.
Career
Jennifer started her career holding the position of producers’ assistant, until she was promoted and became the producer herself. She started working at the Creative Artists Agency in 2004, a talent and sports agency located in Los Angeles. During those years it was good luck for Jennifer to start her career there, as it was one of the most influential and dominant talent agencies in the US. The company had more than 1,800 employees, and managed a huge number of prestigious clients from Hollywood. Jennifer worked there until 2005, gaining experience which helped her a lot in her further career.
At the end of 2005 Jennifer was hired by another respected company, the Paradigm Talent Agency, which had multiple offices around the US, and also managed a lot of well-known actors, dancers, singers, etc. Jennifer enjoyed working there so much that she still works there, as of 2020.
Writing and reflecting on her own life
As a publicist, Jennifer uses several platforms to develop her writing career and skills. She writes posts on parenthood, life, relationships and family in her Instagram account, sharing her views on various situations she faces in life. She also tries to analyze her present inner state, writing detailed overviews on her feelings and trying to discover the source of them, as she believes one can deal with hisher feelings only truly understanding where they come from.
Her Instagram account is followed by more than 110,000 people, who also share their life experiences with Jennifer in the comments.
Jennifer has a personal website, on which she shares not only her thoughts but also the things that inspire her and make her days a bit better. The site has four categories; one is “Food For Thought”, and mostly repeats the posts Jennifer shares on her Instagram account, reaching the wisdom dealing with any situation she gets into. The second category is “Inspiration”, and Jennifer shares anything that makes her inspired or motivated, for example, a book, a movie or a song. The third category of the site, “Eye Candy”, is there to share whatever makes Jennifer’s eyes happy, whether it would a nice lipstick, a beautiful mug of coffee or a hotel she travelled to with her kids and husband.
Last but not least is the category “Good Eats”, in which Jennifer shared the recipes which will keep one healthy, fulfilled and won’t take a lot of time to be cooked.
Personal life, husband Omari Hardwick
Jennifer is married to the popular American actor, Omari Hardwick. They met at the beginning of 2000s, but Omari was in another relationship back then. After that relationship was over, Omari and Jennifer started dating, and eventually married on 4 May 2012. The couple have two kids, daughter Nova and a younger son, Brave Hardwick. Jennifer once shared that motherhood changed her a lot even though she was not at all ready for that.
However, she feels blessed to have the family with two children, as she enjoys dealing with parenthood challenges: ‘There is no job I’ve had, no title I’ve held, that has called upon me to use all of me quite like Motherhood <…> Motherhood drains you to dry and fills you fuller than you ever knew to be physically, emotionally or spiritually possible’, she writes on her social media account.
Unfortunately, Jennifer and Omari’s interracial marriage couldn’t keep some of Omari’s followers calm. He got more and more comments and messages on his social media profiles which offended his wife, for marrying a white woman. The couple had to defend themselves, stating that their choice in life was nobody’s business but theirs.
