Early life and education

Robin was raised an only child in Sydney by her father who is a car mechanic, and her mother who is teaching at a local high school.

She became interested in acting at the age of five when she started watching sitcoms with her mother, and after enrolling at elementary school, she joined its drama club and began appearing in school plays. When she enrolled at high school, she became interested in cars through helping her father, while also working on her acting skills, and she was also physically active practicing dance and playing soccer.
