Early life and education

Aurora was raised an only child in County Fermanagh by her father who is a businessman and her mother who is a lawyer.

She was physically active while growing up, playing soccer and lacrosse, while she was also interested in stand-up comedy and often watched other people do comedy at a local pub. She attended St Mary’s High School, and upon matriculation enrolled at the University of Liverpool, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in politics and political philosophy. Aurora grew up hoping to become an actress or a model, but eventually chose a career as a host and a film director and producer.

Aurora’s career

Aurora started working at the BBC Network as the assistant director of several of their shows, such as “Holby City” and “Eastenders” among others.

After that, she became a producer working for both Big Earth Productions and BBC’s “Top Gear”, specializing in shows related to cars and motorbikes, working with the same company that produce “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down” series’ which featured Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman; she made a cameo appearance in the TV series “Top Gear”, when she appeared as a bride marrying at St Paul’s Cathedral and Matt LeBlanc came in to crash her wedding. She has also worked at Channel 5 and ITV.
