Childhood and education

Wendie was raised in Buffalo by her father Ken Malick who was working as a salesperson, and her mother Gigi, who was a model. Wendie’s paternal grandfather came from Egypt and her last name ‘Malick’ stands for ‘King’ in the Egyptian Arabic language.
