Eivin Kilcher was born on the 6th March 1983 in Homer, Alaska USA, the son of Otto Kilcher and his second wife, Sharon McKemie. Eivin has a younger brother Levi Kilcher, and a younger half-brother, August, whose mother is Charlotte, Otto Kilcher’s third wife.
Eivin is also a step-brother to Torrey, who is the son of Charlotte and her previous husband. From an early age, he was taught the survival skills needed, growing-up in the wilderness of Alaska. Without any modern technology, Eivin depended on his senses and local knowledge since he was a young boy. He went only to a high school in Homer, and after matriculation focused on working on the family’s stead.

The first episode premiered on the 29th December 2011, and since then 140 episodes have aired, with Eivin appearing in 104 episodes so far. He has become a television star, alongside the rest of the Kilchers, and fans have just loved them and the entire show.
