Childhood and education

Nathan was raised in Roseville by his mother Deborah Mathers, and his father Fred Samara. Growing up wasn’t easy for Nathan who was abused by his mother, and after this was reported to the authorities by Nathan’s school teachers, he was placed in foster care.

Eminem met Kimberly Anne ‘Kim’ Scott while attending high school, and they were married twice. Kim gave birth to their daughter Hallie on 25 December 1995, and they married four years later, but then divorced in 2001 – in January 2006, the two re-married, but divorced again by the end of the year.
