Jannero Pargo is a versatile American professional basketball coach and former player. He is best known for serving as an assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He debuted in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2002-2003 season, then went on to play for a number of other teams, including the Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks. Pargo played two years of college basketball at Neosho County Community College before transferring to Arkansas. He served as a backup to Chris Paul for the New Orleans Hornets during the 2008 playoffs, averaging 10.3 points in 12 games. - He played in The Basketball Tournament on ESPN for team A Few Good Men (Gonzaga Alumni) in the summer of 2017 and for team A Few Good Men, he scored 21 points in his only game played.
