Ace Young who was born on15th in November 1980. He is a well-known American singer, songwriter, and actor. He got national recognition when he appeared on the fifth season of American Idol. Young got married to her longtime girlfriend American Idol season-three runner-up Diana DeGarmo.
Ace Young Early years
Ace Young was brought up in Boulder, Colorado. He is the youngest child of five sons. He started to write songs, sing them, and take voice lessons when he was at the age of 9. In his early age, he appeared working at shopping malls and recreation centers. He acted his performance at several different venues in Colorado as well as other western states, which include the performance at the National Anthem at The Pepsi Center in Denver. Young completed his graduation from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado in the year 1999. When he was in high school he took part in athletics, choir, and International Baccalaureate classes and used to play well. He achieved the high rank of Eagle Scout when he was studying in his senior year.
After graduating from high school, Young composed a song titled as “Reason I Live” that was highlighted on the soundtrack of the 2000 film titled as “The Little Vampire”.
In the year 2001, Ace Young shifted to Los Angeles, California to carry on his music career. He finally met Brian McKnight and offered the opportunity to start for McKnight and New Edition. Four years later, in Los Angeles without any deal of recording, Ace Young took an audition for American Idol in Denver, Colorado. His recorded audition highlighted him singing Westlife’s “Swear it Again.” Young presented as Brett Young, and named “Ace”. Afterward, he declared to producers that he would prefer to be called Ace and he didn’t like to be referred to as Brett on the show again.
He also performed his appearance on Michael Jackson’s song, “Butterflies.”

2006
Ace Young also performed his appearance at the 2006 Walt Disney Christmas Day Parade with his fellow Idol finalists Paris Bennett, Kevin Covais, and Mandisa as well. He also produced a charity named “Highrollers With Heart” that was almost $300,000 to help Children’s Hospital in Denver to build the Family Hospitality Suite.[3]
Young also composed the chorus for Daughtry’s debut single, “It’s Not Over.” His song selected as the nomination for the Best Rock Song at the 50th Annual Grammy Award nominations on 6th December 2007. Alongside co-writers, Gregg Wattenberg, Mark Wilkerson, and Chris Daughtry, Young achieved a songwriting nomination also.
In the year 2008, Young mentioned with the name of a Celebrity Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). He performed on the show every year from 2007 until the year 2012. The previous year he also worked as a host of the New York MDA telethon. In the year 2012, he took part in Labor Day weekend’s pre-taped MDA “Show of Strength” telethon. He carries on to work with MDA through the Nashville chapter.
2008-2009
In the year 2008, Ace Young launched another single, “Addicted,” and highlighted to promote the song as well as the subsequent video on TNA wrestling. He paired with Bon Jovi producer Desmond Child on his self-labeled and self-funded debut album, launching it liberally in the month of July 2008. He composed seven of the eleven songs on the cd and launched it occasionally to stores and digital retailers on the spot.
On 12th of May, 2008 he performed on the Fox series Bones along with season-six American Idol participant Brandon Rogers. In the episode “Wannabe in the Weeds,” Young also acted as an offended and arrogant karaoke singer who cruelly murdered. After that, Ace Young began opening a now-defunct music corporation, named as “Young Brothers Entertainment.” The company paired with Mailboat Records for digital launched but none of the affiliated acts ever launched music through the corporation outside of Diana DeGarmo and Young himself. Young’s single “I Wanna Fall in Love Again” launched on iTunes in May 2012 and became the main cause of young’s fame.
Young appeared as Joseph in the U.S. national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat along with DeGarmo as being the Narrator from about January 2014 to April 2015.

Ace Young resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Diana DeGarmo. The couple had a meeting in the year 2010 while they were performing in Hair on Broadway. They had an engagement on the 23rd May 2012, American Idol season finale when Young gave DeGarmo a big surprise with an on-air marriage proposal. Young and DeGarmo married on 1st June 2013 in Los Angeles at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard hotel. Young formerly engaged in the year 2009 to actress Allison Fischer but later they separated because of some personal issues.
