Ashlen spent her early years in Dallas, raised by her Spanish father and her American mother. She attended a local high school where she first became interested in music, with her favorite genre being rap. Ashlen found comfort in music, as she mentioned on her Instagram account that she is very shy and suffered from anxiety, thus had just a couple of friends while she was also a bit bullied at school.
