Early Life and Career Beginnings
Tyrel Jackson grew up in Westchester County, and at a young age developed an interest in acting, leading him to pursue various professional projects as a child. His first appearance was as a child in the television series “Everybody Hates Chris” in which he portrayed a much younger version of Chris Rock’s character. The show is based on the life of Chris Rock, and parodies the title of “Everybody Loves Raymond”.
At around the same time, he made his film debut in “The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie” which stars Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff.
The film follows the story of a fictional rock group, consisting of children who due to various disputes causes them to split-up before eventually reconciling and reuniting. He also worked on the romantic comedy film “Failure to Launch”, which starred Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker. The film tells the story of a man in his mid-30s who still lived in the home of his parents, with no interest in ever getting away from his comfortable life there.

The show aired from 2016 to 2018, though it was only one season and 21 episodes, but each episodes had a lot of content. as each was a compilation of various shorts. Other stars of the show included Jessica DiCicco, Ryan Quincy, James Adomian, and Andy Milonakis. After the first season fully aired, Disney XD announced that it was canceling the show.
This was not the end, as Tyrel had gained another regular role in the show “Brockmire”, appearing as one of the main characters during its first two seasons, alongside Amanda Peet, JK Simmons, and Hank Azaria. It follows the story of a play-by-play announcer of baseball, who has an emotional break down while working due to his wife’s infidelity. After being away from the public for many years, he tried to get back on his game while calling a minor league game. The show ran for four seasons before concluding its story.
