The athlete was born on 6 May 1985 as Christopher Emmanuel Paul in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the United States of America. He was born as the son of parents Charles Edward Paul and Robin Jones. He grew up in Lewisville with his older brother, Charles “C.J.” Paul. Further, he has a nationality of American and belongs to mixed ethnicity.
Regarding his education, he attended West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina. during this time, he played on the junior varsity team in his freshman and sophomore seasons.
