Christian was born on the 20th February 1993, and at the age of 27 is one of the most successful young people born in Houston, Texas USA. His early life isn’t widely known publicly, except that he is the older of two children – his younger brother is currently attending college. Christian was interested in pursuing a career as a musician, before changing his mind while in college to chase his destiny as a fitness vlogger. He was once part of a rock band, but when the group disbanded, Christian turned his attention to the gym.

He attended Texas Christian University between 2011 and 2013 but dropped out to continue the pursuit of YouTube fame, after finding his new passion for fitness and gymming.

In late 2015, the popular fitness magazine Bodybuilding.com featured him in an article. The title claimed that his workouts are watched by more than 300,000 viewers, and credited Christian as one of the most popular and inspiring fitness instructors on YouTube.
With this article online, his popularity increased even more, and by 2017 he had 750,000 YouTube subscribers, and over a million followers on Instagram.
Christian then used the money that he made through YouTube to start his own fitness and lifestyle clothing brand – Alphalete Athletics – which has grown in popularity and is featured in international events, now being sold globally.
He then opened a large gymnasium – Alphalete Gym – in Houston, Texas where he grew up, and has spent most of his life.
The launch of his energy beverage, initially named Up Energy Drink, was sued shortly after its release by UpTime Energy Inc. for trademark infringement. It forced Christian to rename his energy drink brand and cost him a hefty piece of his fortune.
The Up Energy brand was even guilty of copying a similar-looking logo, so Christian changed the name to 3D Energy to continue production.

Christian is known to spend off days in which he would rest from shredding it up in the gym, playing his guitar and practising his musical skills. He also loves dogs, and is a fanatic of the Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball club.
Although many would think that Christian’s bodybuilder physique is naturally obtained, there are those who claim that it is not, saying that Christian uses anabolic steroids, growth hormones and peptides.
With such quick results, going from geek to buffed up jock, the likelihood of these claims might be true, however, it has never been officially confirmed by Guzman.
Relationships
Christian has had two well-known relationships with fellow fitness vloggers on YouTube. The first was with Nikki Blackketter, but after appearing together on a few vlogs the relationship ended. Christian has since been involved with another fitness instructor and vlogger, Heidi Somers. He has not been married yet, and has no known offspring.
