Christopher Russell is a Canadian actor, who is best known to the world as Barrett in the horror film “Land of the Dead” from 2005, and as Milton Richter in the action-adventure drama series “Star Trek: Discovery” (2017), and also as Panto Trost in the TV action-adventure comedy series “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”, in addition to many other roles in his career spanning almost 25 years.

Christopher Russell was born on the 8th January 1983, in Toronto, Ontario Canada; he is a son of British immigrant parents, who are the first generation Canadian. Career Beginnings
Christopher’s acting debut happened in 1995, in the low-budget horror-thriller film “The Whispering”, starring Leif Garrett and Louise Stratten. He then went on hiatus, apparently for educational purposes, returning in 2004 with the role of God in the romantic comedy-drama series “Show Me Yours”. The same year he had a couple of minor roles, while in 2005 he was selected for the part of Barrett in the film “Land of the Dead”.
The film was a success, but Christopher couldn’t capitalize on its success, and continued making minor appearances in TV series and films throughout the 2000s. Some of the projects include the TV series “Bionic Woman” in 2007, then the film “Center Stage: Turn it Up” (2008), and the TV series “Supernatural”, among other series and films.

In the last couple of years, Christopher has moved to the US from his native Canada, and in 2018 starred in the television movie “Forever Christmas”, and in 2019 in another television movie “Love Unleashed”, and “Christmas Unleashed”. He is now working on several projects, including the television film “Nature of Love”, releasedin April 2020, while he is also working on the film “When It Rains It Pours”, which is in post-production.
