Eddie Money, when he was 11, he started to sing in a street and played in rock bands. He used to earn money by selling bell-bottoms. In a club, San Francisco Bay Area, he used to perform there regularly. Later, then he was noticed by Bill Graham. After that, then he signed a contract with Columbia Records.
He had released his debut album with two songs: ‘Baby Hold On’ and ‘Two Ticket To Paradise’ in the same year. After gaining the taste of success in the late 1970s and early 1980s, later he was addicted to drugs. Later, in 1986, he came back to the music industry with the new album ‘Can’t Hold Back’, which is also one of the hit songs in the late 90s. Then he recorded his seventh studio album ‘Nothing To Lose’, ‘Walk on Wate’, and ‘The Love in Your Eyes’ in 1988.

Later, he had started the summer concert season for DTE Energy Music Theatre in Michigan, since 1992. After that, in 2008, he was listed into the Long Island Music Hall of Frame. It was announced to the public that he will release the album ‘Brand New Day’ on 10 May, but, because of his death, later it was confirmed to be released on 17 April 2020.

Eddie Money was a married man, where he had spent 30 years together with his spouse Laurie Money. Previously, Eddie had married Margo Lee Walker in 1984 at Valentine’s Day. Because of that, he was unable to move or walk for a couple of months. In 2001, he joined a twelve-step program to get rid of his drinking habit. Later in 2013, he was changed for his family.
According to some sources, he had done the surgery of the heart valve and contracted pneumonia. On 24 August 2019, it was made public that he diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. On 13 September 2019, the legendary rock singer was passed away in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 70.
