Early life and education
David was raised alongside his brother and sister by their mother who is of Puerto Rican descent, and their father who was an American businessman; he died when David was 16.
David was homeschooled because he started acting at the age of two. while he appeared in his first theatre play, “The Wizard of Oz” when he was three. He went on to practice acting with his personal tutor, as well as in theatres – some of his following stage roles were in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” in which he played Mr. Tumnus, “Seussical” in which he portrayed Mr. Mayor, and “Little Princess” in which he starred as Carisford.
His most notable performance in theatre plays remains his portrayal of Phao in “The Jungle Book”.

David has just recently been cast to play one of the lead characters in the upcoming horror film “Involuntary” written and directed by Hutch Dano, and which will also star Lindsey Shaw and Cortney Palm – it is set to be released on 5 January 2021.

David and the American actress Meg DeLacy started dating not long after they met on the set of “The Fosters”, but kept the relationship a secret for months before attending a red carpet event together and holding hands on 1 December 2017.
The two have since remained together, and have uploaded numerous pictures featuring both of them onto their Instagram accounts – there are no controversies nor rumors surrounding the relationship.
Meg DeLacy was born on 9 July 1996 in Southern California USA and is probably known best for her roles in the series “Recovery Road”, “Zac and Mia” and “Stargirl” in which she has been portraying the lead character Cindy Burman since January 2020. Meg is also a singer who is running her own YouTube channel.

Hobbies and other interests
David has been interested in music since a very early age, and can today play the trumpet, the piano and the electric guitar – he is also a singer with a strong tenor voice.
He is a lover of animals who has a pet Shih Tzu dog called Jasper which can often be seen featured in his pictures on Instagram.
David is also interested in learning languages, and is fluent in both English and Spanish while he knows the basics of several other languages including French and German.

He is physically quite active as he has several training sessions at the gym each week, but can’t follow a diet as tasting various cuisines is one of his hobbies.
David has his own favorite actors some of whom are Jim Carrey, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt, while a few of his favorite movies are the franchise “The Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Bruce Almighty”, and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
