Louis William Tomlinson was born on the 24^th December 1991, in Doncaster, England, as the only child of Troy Austin and Johannah Poulston. His parents parted their ways while he was still in his infancy, and his mother later married to Mark Tomlinson, hence Louis’ surname. From his stepfather’s previous relationship, he has seven half-siblings.

In the early 2000s, young Louis appeared as an extra in a couple of episodes of ITV’s TV drama series “Fat Friends”, after which he decided to enroll at the acting school in the city of Barnsley.
