Early life and education

Go was raised with an older brother in Jinju in South Gyeongsang by their mother who is a nurse, and their father who is a soldier, and so moved a lot with her father’s postings.

She became interested in modelling while attending elementary school, and when in a local high school, her best friend encouraged her to send her application to SM Entertainment modelling agency, which became her sponsor, and at the age of 13, Go won the SM Entertainment Teen Model Contest.
