Early life and education
Diana was raised in Memphis as an only child by her mother who was working as a nurse at a local hospital, and her father who was a car mechanic, and who owned his own parts store. Diana became interested in acting when she was seven years old, and practiced her acting skills at a local theatre, while she made her debut stage appearance in 2004 at the age of 11 when she portrayed Gracie Shinn in “The Music Man”.
Diana became physically active while attending a local high school in Memphis, as she played soccer and volleyball, then upon matriculation in 2011, she moved to New York where she joined an acting program at the New York Film Academy. She didn’t attend college and isn’t planning on enrolling at one in the future.
Career as an actress
Diana made her debut film appearance in 2011, when she portrayed Alexis in the short movie “Two Weeks to Life”, directed and written by James Buchanan, and which starred Patrick Prentiss, Marcus Santi and Dorv Armour.
The story follows a man who has just found out that he has only two more weeks to live, but it failed to attract much attention.
Diana’s following role was in 2012 as Rapunzel, in the short romantic horror movie “In the Shadows”, written and directed by Rex Harsin. The film starred Julie Ann Doan, Amye Gousset and Chatt Graham, and gained mixed reviews. In 2013, Diana portrayed Jordan in her first full-length adventure action movie “End of the World”, which starred Greg Grunberg and Neil Grayston and was about a group of people who have watched dozens of apocalyptic movies, and who now have to save Earth from an apocalyptic outcome.

She then appeared as Jordan in the comedy action adventure film “Lavalantula”, which was about lava-breathing spiders which are attacking Los Angeles, followed by an uncredited appearance as Sarah in the horror thriller movie “Martyrs”, which won Lexi DiBenedetto a nomination for a Young Entertainer Award for Best Performance – DVD Film. The year 2016 saw her appear in several movies – two of her most notable performances were in the short comedy film “Punked” in which she portrayed Emily, and in the comedy series “Casual” in which she played Elle in the episode “The Magpie”.
In 2018, Diana appeared as Raine Bennett in the drama movie “Shooting in Vain”, while the following year saw her portray the Duke in the comedy horror film “Bit”, directed and written by Brad Michael Elmore, and which won Nicole Maines a Grand Jury Award for Outstanding Performance in a US Feature at the Los Angeles Outfest.
