Who is Ian Bohen?
Ian Bohen is an American actor and short film director, who is probably best known for starring in the recurring role of Peter Hale in the TV fantasy drama series “Teen Wolf”. He is also widely recognized from appearing in TV series such as “Breakout Kings”, “Chicago P.D.” and more recently “Yellowstone”, as well as in movies including “Wind River” (2017) and “Sicario: Day of the Soldado” (2018).
Early Life
Ian Stuart Bohen was born under the zodiac sign of Libra on the 24th September 1976, in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California USA.
He was raised alongside his older brother Shane by their mother Pamela Bohen, and apart from being of American nationality and white ethnicity, he is of some Irish, English, German and Swiss-German ancestry as well.
Career
Ian’s on-camera acting career began in 1992, when he appeared in an episode of the TV comedy drama series “The Torkelsons”. To greater prominence he came in 1994 when he was cast with Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid in the Oscar-nominated biographical western drama film “Wyatt Earp”, in which he played the young version of the title character.
In the following year, Bohen appeared in an episode of the Primetime Emmy-nominated TV series “Walker, Texas Ranger” while in 1996 he appeared in popular TV series such as “Boy Meets World” and “Picket Fences”, as well as in the Golden Globes-nominated TV thriller movie “If These Walls Could Talk”.
Between 1997 and 1998, Bohen starred opposite Kevin Sorbo as young Hercules in the TV series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys”, after which he was cast in the Primetime Emmy-nominated TV drama series “Any Day Now” in the recurring role of Johnny O’Brien, which he reprised ’til 2001.

Later in 2001 Ian briefly appeared in Michael Bay’s Oscar-winning war drama film “Pearl Harbor” after which he appeared in the 2002 sports-related film “Hometown Legend”.
After honing his skills through a variety of guest appearances in TV series such as “JAG”, “Cold Case” and “Joan of Arcadia”, in 2007 he appeared alongside Jon Hamm in the main role of Don Draper in the five-time Golden Globe Award-winning TV drama series “Mad Men”. In the late 2000s, he appeared in the TV series’ “Prison Break” and “CSI: Miami”, before being cast for the leading role of Adam in the 2010 thriller movie “Irreversi”.
The real breakthrough in Ian Bohen‘s acting career occurred in 2011, when he was cast for the recurring role of Peter Hale in the MTV’s television supernatural teen fantasy drama series “Teen Wolf” which he continued over the course of the next six years, through the show’s six seasons. For this performance he was nominated for the 2017 Saturn Award for the Best Guest Performance in a Television Series.
In 2012 Bohen starred in TV series’ “Breakout Kings” and “Major Crimes”, portraying the recurring characters of Pete Gillies and Daniel Dunn respectively.

Into the limelight Ian stepped again in 2018, when apart from appearing in the action crime drama movie “Sicario: Day of the Soldado”, and in the drama film “Little Women”, he was cast to play the recurring character of Ryan in the TV western drama series “Yellowstone” which he’s portrayed ever since.
Additionally, in his professional portfolio there are several notable short movie engagements, such as “Interpretation”, “Give Me Your Hand” and “Fanboy”, as well as “Morning Love” and “The Tow” for which he also served as the director, editor and writer.

When it comes to his personal life, Ian is certainly not gay but a genuine ladies man. Through the 2000s he was romantically connected to British model Eliza Cummings-Cove, Amila Ibragimova, Lithuanian model Gintare Sudziute, and a fellow colleague, Australian actress Adelaide Kane.
Additionally, between 2013 and 2014 Ian dated “Teen Wolf” co-star Holland Roden, after whom he was in relationships with American actresses Haley Webb, Kelley Jakle and Sierra Love. Between 2017 and 2019, Bohen was dating American model Megan Irminger, while lately he is allegedly romantically connected to Canadian actress Laysla De Oliveira.
The 43-year-old actor sports a masculine figure, and is standing 5ft 10ins (1.78 m) tall, weighing around 160lbs (72 kgs).
Being ‘horribly bullied‘ during his childhood, Ian is involved in the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Programme, and is an avid supporter of the Anti-Bullying Campaign, run by the non-profit charitable organization and the living legacy of the tragically deceased Princess Diana – The Diana Award.
