Kellyanne Conway is an American pollster, political consultant, and pundit who serves as the Senior White House Advisor to U.S. President, Donald Trump. She is the first woman to have run a successful U.S. presidential campaign as she was a campaign manager for Trump’s presidential run in 2016. She has been associated with Trump earlier as Trump’s presidential run. She previously conducted private polls for Trump in late 2013 when he was considering running for Governor of New York.
Conway announced in August 2020 that she is resigning from her position at the end of August to focus on her family. Her husband, George Conway also announced on the same day that he is leaving the Lincoln Project in order to devote more time to his family. Their announcement came after their daughter, Claudia became an anti-Trump sensation via Tik Tok.

Kellyanne Conway to Leave White House by End of Month
White House Senior Advisor to Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway announced on 23 August 2020 that she would resign from her position by the end of August.
Conway announced to leave the White House in order to “spend more time with her family.” Her husband, George Conway also announced on the same day that he is taking a leave from the Lincoln Project in order to devote more time to his family. George is also a vocal critic of Donald Trump.
Her announcement came after months of a public feud between herself and her teenage daughter, Claudia Conway. Her daughter Claudia is an anti-Trump who gained attention after she started sharing anti-Trump videos on her social media platform, Tik Tok. Claudia, who identifies herself as a leftist and liberal, has described Trump as “a horrible person”. It was reported that George initially approved of utilizing her right to free speech and voicing her own opinions. Later, Conway tweeted a request that all media cease communicating with his daughter. Claudia tweeted in response, “You’re just mad that I’m finally getting my voice heard. Sorry, your marriage failed”. Claudia’s social media accounts were then briefly made private. Kellyanne Conway’s public feud with her daughter and her husband being anti-trump also led to her resignation from her position. As her husband also resigned from the Lincoln Project, seems like, the family is seeking to fix their family issues. The Conways have 4 children and lives in Washington D.C.

She allegedly punched a man at an exclusive inauguration ball just hours after Donald Trump was sworn in as president. Two days after Trump’s presidential inauguration, Conway used the phrase “alternative facts” during a Meet the Press interview to defend statements made by White House press secretary Sean Spicer regarding the inauguration’s crowd size. Her statement also stirred controversy.

Conway appeared in a television news show interview on Hardball with Chris Matthews on 2 February 2017. She referenced an event allegedly perpetrated by Iraqi terrorists she termed the “Bowling Green massacre” in order to justify President Trump’s immigration ban. Such an event never took place. Conway stated the next day that she meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists”. She also drove criticism after she publicly endorsed commercial products associated with the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump. The U.S. Office of Special Counsel recommended that Conway be fired for “unprecedented” multiple violations of the Hatch Act of 1939 in June 2019.
