The senior meteorologist was born on 9 May 1970, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She grew up in Ottawa to a Canada native parents, however, she has not revealed information on them. Also, it seems that she is the only child of her parents since there is no information on her brother or sister.
Regarding her education, she finished high school in her hometown. Then she went on to join Algonquin college from where she completed the honors diploma in Radio & Television Broadcasting.
