Jorge Masvidal was born in Miami, Florida, USA on November 12, 1984. He belongs to white ancestry and is an American citizen. He was born to the father of Cuba and the mother of Peru. Masvidal has revealed that his father as a youngster has defected from Cuba with a self-made raft and ended at Virgins Islands. From a very young age, he started fighting in a street.
