Kordell Stewart is a former American football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, primarily with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at Colorado where he achieved recognition for the “Miracle at Michigan”, a Hail Mary pass he completed to defeat Michigan in 1994. He then earned the nickname ‘Slash’ for being able to play multiple positions in addition to quarterback, such as wide receiver, running back, punter, and kick returner. He was selected by the Steelers in the second round of the 1995 NFL draft.
