Maya Devir married Yehuda Devir. Both of them have been together for more than a decade. They welcomed their first bundle of joy, Ariel Devir on May 28, 2019. Maya said in a Q&A session on their YouTube channel that finding out pregnancy turned out to be the most beautiful memory of her life.

The idea of the comic first came up when they were looking for an apartment to live in Israel. They made an illustration about finding the apartment and it received a lot of attention from the viewers so they started a whole series about it.
Lucky for them, the comic is doing really well and more and more people are viewing it every single day.

The 30-year-old artist is doing really well with her comics these days; however, that was not always the case. In the beginning, they used to sell their arts for pennies at the local fairs and markets on a table.
