Born Michael William Day on the 20th March 1980, in Orange County, California USA, he went to Panorama Elementary School, and then attended El Modena High School in Orange.

While in high school, Mikey started displaying his interest in theater and drama, and he joined the drama program and the associated student body. He would also write comedic sketches for monthly assemblies. After high school matriculation, Mikey enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in theatre.

Career Beginning

Following graduation, Mikey joined the improv group Groundlings, based in Los Angeles. His first on-screen appearance was in the TV comedy “The Mike & Ben Show” in 1999.

Six years later, Mikey joined the cast of the popular comedy series “Wild ‘N Out”, and from 2005 to 2016 featured in 90 episodes of the popular show. This made him popular within Hollywood, and allowed him to pursue other opportunities.
