The Riches of Kelly Rizzo

As of early-2020, Kelly Rizzo’s net worth is estimated to be over $1 million, earned through success in her various endeavors. Her blog and her association with Saget opened up numerous opportunities for her to earn a significant income. She’s also worked in real estate and has appeared in a music video.

She also probably benefits from the success of her husband, as he has a net worth estimated to be over $100 million.

Early Life, Education, and Career Beginnings

Kelly grew up in Chicago, but lived most of her life away from the spotlight. She loved to write, which is one of the reasons she pursued her later career choices. After matriculating from high school, she enrolled at the University of Iowa where she studied for a degree in Journalism. The university is the second-largest university in the state, and the oldest, its history dating back to 1847.

After graduating, she continued her studies and went back to Chicago, enrolling at DePaul University for a degree in Film and Media Studies, with a minor in Italian. The private university also has a big history, being the largest Catholic University in the US in terms of enrollment. The school is also known for prioritizing students with impoverished or disadvantaged backgrounds. While she had the educational background for writing, she didn’t pursue it initially.

Real Estate and Transition

Rizzo grew up in a family of real estate specialists, and wanting to follow in their footsteps, she joined her mother and became a real estate agent. She later helped her mother create Dream Town Realty, and actually worked as an agent for a decade and a half.

During this time, she channeled other passions through a blog – she started a food and travel blog called, “Eat, Travel, Rock” which showcased her enthusiasm for delicacies as well as destinations. Her blog rose to fame, so she also started a YouTube channel that showcased videos akin to travel programs.

Eventually, this prompted her to transition her blog into more of a vlog, officially starting a web series of the same name. She set up a website dedicated to her blog, while also posting these videos on YouTube. In her show, she mainly travels across the US, visiting unusual events, and trying out food and drink places. She also began posting travel guides to various locations in Chicago, and featured other cities.

Her fame has led her to a radio segment at the Chicago station 101 WKQX-FM called “Rocking Right Now”. She’s also been featured on television programs and radio shows on ABC, VH1, and WCIU the Jam. In 2017, she was named by Modern Luxury’s Michigan Avenue Magazine as a Travel Queen.

Husband – Bob Sager

Bob Sager is of Jewish descent – he briefly lived in California during his youth before moving back to his birth city in Philadelphia. At a young age he aspired to become a doctor, but one of his teachers urged him to pursue an acting career. After matriculating from high school, he enrolled at Temple University where he produced the film “Through Adam’s Eyes” which won him an award.

After graduating in 1978, he furthered his studies by enrolling at the University of Southern California (USC) but left just a few days into his postgraduate studies. One of his first projects was “The Morning Program” but what defined his career was 1987’s “Full House” which was a success. The show follows the life of a sports anchor who moves in with some friends to help raise his children after his wife passed away. He played the role of Danny Tanner, the main character of the show. The show was a modest success in the late 1980s and eventually became an international hit in the 1990s.

Bob Saget – Later Career

Following the end of “Full House”, Saget was also a popular personality thanks to his long role as the host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos”. He eventually left the show to direct his first film called “Dirty Work”, which became a cult favorite despite generally negative reviews from its initial release. For the next few years, he mainly did work on sitcoms and as the host of game shows. In 2005, he became the voice for the future Ted Mosby in the sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”. He also had a recurring role in the HBO series “Entourage”, playing a parody of himself.

Many of his projects were short-lived and didn’t gain much traction. In 2014 he released the book called “Dirty Daddy”, about his career and other experiences. In 2016, it was announced that he would be cast in a sequel to “Full House” called “Fuller House”. The show tackles a newly widowed mother of three children who lives with her sister and best friend to help raise her children. Many of the old cast members returned to the show as a guest or recurring character – Bob plays the role of the lead characters’ father.

Personal Life

Rizzo wasn’t Sager’s first wife as he had been married to Sherri Kramer from 1982, in a marriage that lasted 15 years, and produced three children. After the divorce, he believed that he wouldn’t find love again, but in 2015 met Kelly through a mutual friend in 2015, started dating shortly afterwards, and three years later the two married. She is now the stepmother to his three children.

Like her husband, the two love doing charity work. She’s been seen supporting her husband in his work for scleroderma awareness and treatment – Sager’s sister passed away due to the disease, and since then he’s been active in educating people.
