Phil Collins is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, drummer, and actor who is best known as the member of the former rock band “Genesis”. - Philip Collins began his professional career as the drummer of the rock band, “Genesis”, following the departures of drummer John Mayhew and guitarist Anthony Phillips in 1970.
- For the next five years, Collins toured with the band and played drums and percussions in their albums. His first album recorded with the group, “Nursery Cryme”, was released in 1971.
- He sang “More Fool Me” on their 1973 album, “Selling England by the Pound”.
- In 1974, Collins played drums on Brian Eno’s second album, “Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)”.
