Childhood and education
Rachel was raised in Barberton as an only child by her father Jack, who was a basketball coach, and her mother Shannon who was a housewife. Rachel became interested in basketball while attending elementary school, and after enrolling at Wadsworth High School started playing for the school’s team, and soon became the best player in Ohio state, holding the title for around a month and a half. Andre Lee Roberson was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico USA, on 4 December 1991 – his zodiac sign is Sagittarius and he holds American nationality. He was raised alongside his six siblings – four of whom have also become athletes – by their parents who were both All-American athletes while attending New Mexico State University. Andre studied at Karen Wagner High School, where he played basketball for the school’s team, and upon matriculation, won a scholarship to the University of Colorado.
He began playing for the Colorado Buffaloes as soon as he enrolled at the college, under Tad Boyle, a famous American college basketball coach. Andre finished the 2011-2012 season as the third top rebounder in Colorado, while the following season saw him become second best – the team reached the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament during both seasons.
