Regarding his education, after completing high school, he joined the University of Utah. And graduated in 1984 with a B.A. degree.
It is not clear when and where he started his career but he is a popular author known for writing ‘The Christmas Box’. He wrote the book in 1993 as a paperback novella while working as an advertising executive. Initially, the book gained local bestseller, however, following year, it listed number 2 on the New York Times bestseller list.
Moreover, he also signed a publishing deal with Simon & Schuster getting paid of $4.2 million in advance. In 1995, he released ‘The Christmas Box’ with hardcover including some conservative themes and family values.
