Childhood, parents and education
Sarah was raised as an only child in Michigan by her father who was a factory worker, and her mother who taught History at a local high school – Sarah is very close to her parents and has just recently uploaded a picture of her mother onto her Instagram account to wish her a happy Mother’s Day.
From a very early age, Sarah was encouraged by her parents to focus on her education and eventually pursue a college degree. She became interested in acting while attending high school and was a member of her school’s drama club, appearing in many plays performed there but at that time wasn’t interested in pursuing an acting career.
Upon matriculation in 2000, she enrolled at Michigan State University while also working as a waitress to financially support herself. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre in 2004, and two years later moved to Los Angeles in California to work on her dream of becoming an actress.
Roles in movies
Sarah made her debut film appearance in 2007, when she starred as Emily alongside Dan Pesta in the short drama “Beginning of Grief” directed by Kevin Mattison, and which is about a couple who, after coming home from a funeral, start fighting about how they might have been involved in the person’s death.
In 2009, Sarah was invited to play Elizabeth Brown in the crime science fiction thriller “The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations” written by Holly Brix, directed by Seth Grossman, and which starred Chris Carmack, Rachel Mine and Melissa Jones – the film follows a man who can time travel, and is using this ability to learn about his girlfriend’s death. The same year also saw Sarah play supporting characters in the sport drama “Whip It” and the comedy “American Virgin”, before in 2010 playing Jessica Morgan, one of the lead characters in the thriller drama “Unrequited”, both written and directed by Jeffrey Day and which received mixed reviews.
The year 2011 saw her portray Kendra in the horror thriller “Hostel: Part III”, as well as the lead character The Flight Attendant in the short science fiction film “Red & Blue Marbles”, which gained mostly positive reviews but attracted little attention. In 2014, she played Emma Monarch in the romantic comedy “Warren”, written and directed by Alex Beh, while the following year heard her make her voicing debut when she lent her voice to Judy in the animated horror action film “Night of the Living Dead: Darkest Dawn”, but which received mostly poor reviews.
Sarah’s most recent role in movies has been in the 2017 science fiction thriller “Atomica”, in which she starred as Abby alongside Tom Sizemore and Dominic Monaghan – the film follows Abby Dixon who is exploring strange events occurring at a nuclear power plant located in an isolated desert.

Sarah made her debut TV series appearance in 2009, when she played Lucy Platko in the episodes “Two Choices” and “Pilot” of the action crime drama “The Beast”, created by Vincent Angell and William L. Rotko, and which starred Patrick Swayze, Travis Fimmel and Lindsay Pulsipher – the story follows an FBI agent who starts working with a new agent who is actually only there to spy on him.
The year 2010 saw Sarah appear in single episodes of multiple series, such as the drama “The Deep End”, the action crime drama “CSI: NY” and the mystery crime drama “Cold Case”, while she also got to play Colette in the episode “Steve Guttenberg’s Birthday” of the comedy drama “Party Down”. In 2012, she portrayed Amanda Chase in the episode “I Helu Pu” of the action crime drama “Hawaii Five-0”, while the same year also saw her play Chloe in the episode “Home: A Ghost Story” of the thriller series “Dark Wall”. It stars K. J. Apa, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes, and follows Archie and his friends living in Riverdale, a city full of mysteries.
Love life and husband
Sarah is one of the most secretive people in the film industry, as she hasn’t shared any details regarding her love life with the public, but it’s widely known that she is a married woman, while there are also rumors circulating the internet that she has a daughter but these have been proven false.
Sarah has been keeping the identity of her husband a secret and nothing is known about him including his name, but it is speculated that the two met at college and have been together to this day since they exchanged vows sometime in the mid-2010s.
