Who is Sasha Czack?

Early Life, Bio and Career

Alexandra Jane ‘Sasha’ Czack was born under the zodiac sign of Cancer on the 17th July 1950, in Chester, Pennsylvania, and is of American nationality and white ethnicity.

Upon matriculating from St. John’s Senior High School in her home town, she enrolled at the University of Notre Dame du Lac in Notre Dame, Indiana, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in media studies.

Interested in acting since her early years, upon graduation Sasha decided to pursue a career in the moviemaking industry. Her debut on-camera appearance occurred in the late 1970s, when she appeared in an episode of the CBS’ television soap opera series “Love of Life”. Her performance caught the eye of Frank Perry, who cast her for the leading role in his 1972 drama movie “Play It As It Lays”.

However, due to a misunderstanding with her at-that-time fiancé Stallone, who insisted that she help him write a scenario for “Rocky” and stay in New York City, Czack missed the opportunity, and the role was given to Tuesday Weld.

In 1976 Sasha was the lead still photographer on the set of “Rocky” – the three-time Oscar-winning sports drama movie with Stallone in the title role; however, due to then rules of the filmmaking union, her efforts went uncredited.
