Sea Shimooka was born on the 6th February 1995, in San Francisco, California USA of mixed ancestry, as her father is Japanese Hawaiian and her mother is of part-French descent.

She grew up in the bay area, and from an early age expressed her desire to become involved in show business. Before acting, she was a model, launching her career at just 13 years of age. After high school, Sea enrolled at New York University’s Tisch School, from which she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
