Childhood and education

Bo was raised an only child in Yardley by his father who was a firefighter, and his mother who worked as a cashier at a local supermarket.

Bo expressed his desire for becoming an actor while attending elementary school, but his parents urged him to focus on his education and obtain a degree.

He became physically active while attending high school, as he played football and basketball and also appeared in several plays performed at school. The year 2000 saw Bo work on the science fiction comedy film “What Planet Are You From?”, and he then served as the production assistant of his first TV series – the pilot episode of the science fiction action comedy “The Tick”. Three of his most recent works as a production designer have been on the action fantasy adventure movie “Thor” in 2011, the action adventure comedy “Men in Black 3” in 2013, and 25 episodes of “A Series of Unfortunate Events” between 2017 and 2019.
