Childhood and education

Rachael spent the first three years of her life in Vermilion where she was raised by her mother, as her parents divorced shortly after she was born, then moving with her mother to New York and attending a local elementary school. Her mother attending college, eventually graduating and finding a well-paid job to support herself and Rachael, however, she soon became very ill, and upon enrolling at a local high school, Rachael also began working to financially support herself.

She attended a musical theatre class once a week, and when she turned eight she sang at school and was noticed by a New York agent who wanted her to become a stage actress; Rachael decided to wait and find child roles in movies and TV series.
