Kali then worked on the film “50 First Dates”, which starred Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler, and follows the story of a womanizer who falls in love with an art teacher but discovers she has anterograde amnesia which makes her forget about him every day. He resolves to help her remember him, and win her over for the next 50 days. The film was highly successful, and has inspired various international remakes.

He then gained a production role in the Hawaii-shot series “Lost”, when he would meet his future partner.

The show aired on ABC and follows the story of passengers of an airliner which crash onto a mysterious island in the South Pacific. The show then features numerous mysterious events during its run, it is considered one of the greatest shows of all time, winning numerous awards in over six seasons of airing.
