She has been credited with appearing in three films and one TV series. In 1998, Alix made her debut film appearance when cast to portray a supporting character in the comedy “Tomorrow Night”, again written and directed by her now former husband, and which starred Jim Earl and Frank Senger – it’s about the life of Charles, who owns a photo store. The following year saw Alix appear in a single episode of the musical comedy “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, and in 2006 she starred alongside Louis in his short comedy film “Searching for Nixon”. Alix’s fourth and most recent appearance has been in the 2016 family adventure movie “Spooky Stakeout”, in which she starred as Alice alongside Darragh Barron and Harry Behan – the film was written by Matthew Roche and directed by Ruth Treacy, and follows four friends who are investigating an allegedly haunted castle.

Who is Louis CK?
Louis Szekely was born in Washington, D. C., USA, on 12 September 1967 – his zodiac sign is Virgo and he holds American nationality. He has been named one of the 50 best stand-up comedians of all time, and has won two Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album, six Primetime Emmy Awards as well as a Peabody Award in 2012, and has been nominated for numerous other awards.
Louis was raised alongside his three sisters by their father Luis who was an economist, and their mother Mary Louise who was a software engineer.
The family lived in Washington, D. C. for a year after Louis’ birth before moving to Mexico, where he learned to speak Spanish. They eventually moved back to the US, settling in Boston. Louis grew up dreaming about becoming a comedian, and looking up to Steve Martin and Woody Allen among others. His parents split when he was ten years old, and Louis and his three sisters lived with their mother in Newton, Massachusetts. He studied at Newton North High School matriculating in 1985, and then work in various jobs including as a car mechanic, while developing his career as a stand-up comedian.
He first performed as a stand-up comedian in 1985 during an open mic night, but things didn’t go as planned which made Louis suspend stand-up comedy for the following two years.
He eventually became somewhat popular, and came to Manhattan in 1989. One of his first notable works was writing for the shows “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “Late Show with David Letterman”. Between 1997 and 1999, Louis served as the writer for “The Chris Rock Show”, which was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards, winning one for Best Writing in a Variety or Comedy Series.
The following years saw him direct his first movies – “Tomorrow Night” and “Howie Mandel’s Sunny Skies” – while Louis also gained recognition as an actor with his roles in movies “Role Models”, “Diminished Capacity” and “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins”, all released in 2008.
His first co-starring role was in the 2009 romantic comedy movie “The Invention of Lying”. He began starring in his own series – “Louie” – on 29 June 2010, and for his performance won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, while he was nominated for three others. He went on to appear in several critically acclaimed movies, such as the comedy drama “Blue Jasmine” and the black comedy “American Hustle” both in 2013, and in 2016, Louis and the actor Albert Brooks co-wrote the animated series “Horace and Pete” as well as voiced the title characters. Louis enjoyed his voicing role, and then voiced Jack Russell Terrier in the animated comedy movie “The Secret Life of Pets”.
Rumors started spreading around the internet in 2015 that Louis sometimes locked the door and touched himself in front of his female colleagues, and in September 2017, the comedian Tig Notaro stated she would no longer work with Louis, and that he should properly address the rumors regarding his sexual impropriety – however, Louis denied all allegations. On 10 November 2017, the magazine “Times” published an article about five women accusing Louis of sexual harassment, and he later confirmed the accusations, but stated that he never took out his penis in front of women before asking about it first.
After a year on hiatus, Louis returned to stand-up comedy, and while he was criticized by many for returning too early after the scandal, several famous actors and comedians supported him, including Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. One of his most recent works has been his stand-up special “Sincerely Louis C. K.”, released on 4 April 2020.
Louis is a philanthropist who gave away $500,000 to charity in 2011, to such as the Pablove Foundation, the Fistula Foundation, and Green Chimneys.
