He grew-up helping his parents around the house and their property, and learned about working with plants and trees at a very early age. Eduardo was physically active while attending a public high school in Cordoba as he was playing soccer and basketball, and upon matriculation in 1977, he enrolled at Complutense University of Madrid graduating with a degree in Law in 1983.
Eduardo’s career
Eduardo launched his career in 1985 when he joined El Partido Socialista Obrero Espanol (PSOE), working closely with the Madrid Socialist Federation. On 4 July 2002, he became a member of the The World Federation of Trade Unions Electoral Committee.
Eduardo gained recognition on 10 June 2003 when he failed to attend the Madrid Assembly together with socialist deputy Maria Teresa Saez, and the two therefore helped stop the socialist Francisco Cabacco become elected president, with Concepcion Dancause winning the elections 55 to 54 votes. The elections became a political scandal, which was given the name Tamayazo while Maria and Eduardo were accused by El Partido Socialista Obrero Espanol of receiving money from the Popular Party to stop Francisco from becoming the president.
After an investigation was conducted, Eduardo was not tied to the Popular Party, and the elections were repeated. Eduardo and Maria went on to create the New Socialism party which failed to win any seats, and marked Eduardo’s retirement from politics.
Love life and marriage with Tulsi
Eduardo and Tulsi had known each other since their elementary school days, and saw each other again after numerous years in 2000, when she was on a volunteering mission in Spain with some of her friends, and they started dating shortly after meeting. Eduardo and Tulsi seemed very happy together, however, they divorced on 5 June 2006 due to, as Tulsi has stated, ‘the stresses war places on military spouses and families’, and Eduardo has since been staying away from the media’s attention, and it’s not known whether or not he has remarried.
In 2015, Tulsi married Abraham Williams who is a cinematographer and a film editor in a Vedic ceremony. They don’t have any children, and are currently living together in Honolulu, Hawaii.
