While Mane didn’t have a lot of presence in WCW, he was known for being the bodyguard of Woman and Doom in 1989, appearing in Starrcade 1989. Following his work there, he returned to Japan to tour with All Japan Pro Wrestling, in which he was a part of the World’s Strongest Tag Determination League, an annual tag team tournament hosted by the promotion. He then moved to wrestle in Puerto Rico, before settling in Mexico where he had a contract with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libra.

In 1993 he finally got his contract with WCW, taking up the name Big Sky and set in a tag team with Vinnie Vegas; Vegas would later move to World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the name Diesel and leave him behind.

Due to this, he was lost in the shuffle and began wrestling in the independent scene again. One of his last promotions was in the Universal Wrestling Federation in which he won a championship. After the promotion dissolved, he decided to quit wrestling all together, as he could never really find the right opportunities to make him a star.

Acting Career

One of the reasons that motivated Tyler to leaving professional wrestling was acting, as he had his first opportunity while in Mexico, appearing as the villain of the local movie “Luchadores de las Estrellas”.
