Juliet Mia ‘Julie’ Warner was born in Manhattan, New York City USA, on 9 February 1965, so her zodiac sign is Aquarius and she holds American nationality. Early life and education

Julie was raised alongside her 10 years junior brother James in Manhattan, by their late father Neil Warner who was a pianist and a jazz singer, and their mother Naomi nee Bernstein, who was a literary agent and a licensing director. At the age of 12, Julie’s parents enrolled her at the private co-educational college The Dalton School, where she was advised by a teacher to pursue an acting career. She won her first role not long after that, and upon matriculation enrolled at Brown University in Providence, Long Island, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre in 1987.

Roles in TV series

Julie actually launched her career at the age of 16 in 1981, when she portrayed Cynthia in the soap opera “Guiding Light”. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a waitress for two years until she won an audition, and portrayed Alice Greenwood in the episode “Come from the Shadows” of the police procedural series “21 Jump Street” in 1989.

In the following years, Julie appeared in single episodes of several series, such as “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “The Outsiders” in 1990. She was then invited to portray the lead character Amy Sherman in the comedy series “Pride & Joy”, which also starred Craig Bierko, Jeremy Piven and Caroline Rhea, and which follows two neighboring families raising their children together.

Julie went on to appear in three episodes of the teen family drama “Party of Five”, before she portrayed the main character Danni Lipton in the legal drama series “Family Law” between 1999 and 2001. This crime drama series also starred Kathleen Quinlan and Christopher McDonald, and follows a law firm which is taking on family cases.

In 2003, Julie guest starred as Carrie Richmond in the episode “Alpha-126” of the drama series “Threat Matrix”, before being cast to portray the recurring character Megan O’Hara in the medical drama series “Nip/Tuck” from 2003 to 2006. Some of her following roles were in “Scrubs” in 2004, “Just Legal” in 2005, and “House” in 2006.
