Childhood and education

Michael was raised alongside his two brothers, Peter and David, in Los Angeles by their father Dom DeLuise, who was an American actor, film director and producer known for his role in the film “Fail-Safe”, the hidden camera reality TV series “Candid Camera” and the satirical western black comedy “Blazing Saddles”, and their mother Carol Arthur, an actress known for her supporting roles in movies created by Mel Brooks. Michael’s brother Peter is today an actor and a writer, while David is an actor.

Michael made his debut film appearance at the age of 10, when he was cast to appear in the action comedy drama “Hot Stuff” which starred his father, but then focused on his education.

Love life and wife

Michael is quite secretive when it comes to his love life but it’s known that he was in a relationship with Sherrie Rose, an American actress, film producer and director, who is known for her roles in the Italian natural horror movie “Killer Crocodile” in 1989, the action movie “No Retreat, No Surrender 3: Blood Brothers” in 1990 and the psychological thriller “Unlawful Entry”. The two dated from 1988 to 1990, and eventually became engaged but subsequently split – there are rumors circulating the internet that Sherrie became his wife, but that they divorced not long after. Michael was also in a relationship with the pornographic actress Lynn LeMay.
