Who is Allison Munn?
Allison Munn is an American actress, probably best known to the world as Caroline DuPree – or ‘Crazy Caroline’ – in the sitcom “That ‘70s Show”. Most recently she was selected to play Cassy in the TV comedy series “The Big Show Show”, starring the popular wrestler Paul Donald Wight II, better known as Big Show.

Allison Munn was born on the 7th October 1974, in Columbia, South Carolina USA, the daughter of Russell Munn, who is a political lobbyist, while her mother is Nadine Munn. She went to AC Flora High School, and after matriculation enrolled at the College of Charleston.
After graduating Allison moved to New York, wanting to pursue an acting career, joining the cast of the off-Broadway production “The Fantasticks”, performed at Sullivan Street Theatre.
Career Beginnings
She appeared in more than 500 times in “The Fantasticks”, before leaving New York for Los Angeles, and in 1999 made her on-screen debut as Gretchen in the TV series “Now and Again”. After this, she made several other minor appearances, such as in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2000), and “2gether: The Series” (2001), before she was selected for the role of Caroline in the sitcom “That ‘70s Show”.
This appearance made her popular with the wider public, while producers also noticed her, and after a few episodes she was cast in the comedy series “What I Like About You”.
Rise to Prominence
She portrayed Tina Haven in 59 episodes of “What I Like About You”,from 2003 to 2006, earning a name for herself in the comedy genre. Her next role was as Cindy in the TV series “Carpoolers” (2007-2008), and also in 2007 portrayed Mary in the comedy film “Farm Girl in New York”. Then in 2009, she was selected for the recurring role of Lauren in the highly popular teen drama series “One Tree Hill” (2009-2012), appearing in 20 episodes of the series, which only boosted her popularity.
However, she then struggled to obtain a new prominent role, until in 2014 when she was chosen as Anne Harper in the TV comedy series “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn”, about quadruplets who are fierce rivals, and through 2018 starred in all 84 episodes of the Award-winning series, alongside other stars including Lizzy Greene, Casey Simpson, Aidan Gallagher and others. This role restarted Allison’s career, and she was again seen in the media, talking about her life and career.
Most recently, Allison joined the cast of the new comedy series “The Big Show Show”, and for now appeared in eight episodes. Furthermore, she has also done voice acting for the animated series “Family Guy”.

On the 17th November 2007 of the following year, the two married at the French Huguenot Church in Charleston, South Carolina, in a ceremony which raised a few eyebrows; as native Southerners, both she and her husband, the couple married in a southern-styled ceremony.
Allison and Scott welcomed their first child, a son they named Nathan Powell Holroyd, on the 15th November 2011, while their second child, a daughter Nora, was born in 2015. The family resides in Los Angeles, California, along with their pet terrier named Buster Keaton.

Scott Powell Holroyd was born on the 5th June 1975, in Columbia, South Carolina USA; he is also an actor, having studied acting at the School for Film and Television in Manhattan, and previously graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Journalism.
From 2001 to 2003 he portrayed Paul Ryan in the soap opera “As the World Turns”, the fifth actor to portray the character. Other than this, he had success with the role of Justin Sullivan in the TV series “Chuck” (2010), and as David Fletcher in the TV series “One Tree Hill” from 2009 to 2012. Since then he has been focused primarily on producing – films on which he’s worked include the romantic comedy “Dog Days” (2018), and the biopic about the young Marine corporal “Megan Leavey” (2017). He is currently working on the action-adventure comedy film “The Sleepover”, scheduled for a premiere late in 2020, and starring Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, and Ken Marino.
