John and Cindy took the required steps, and in no time Bridget was taken to the USA with them. She is the youngest of McCain’s seven children, and isn’t the only one who was adopted – Doug and Andrew are John’s adopted children and their mother is Carol Shepp McCain, John’s first wife, and their father is Carol’s ex-husband. Other Bridget’s siblings are Sidney McCain, Meghan McCain, James McCain, and John Sidney McCain IV.
Bridget’s brothers are involved with the US military; John Sidney IV is a helicopter pilot, having graduated from the US Naval Academy in 2009, while James was two times with the Marines in the Iraq War, while Doug was a jet pilot in the US Navy.
Meghan is a social media personality and TV host, while there is no information about Sidney. For her education, Bridget enrolled at Arizona State University Tempe Campus, but hasn’t shared which area she studied.

Bridget is yet to make a career for herself but has already made the news; at first, her adoption was very controversial as she is coloured. She came to public attention in 2000, when she was just nine years old. A political scandal broke in the middle of the race for the Republican presidential nomination between John McCain and George W. Bush – Bush and his team led the campaign against John, stating that who would in their right mind vote for John who is the father of an illegitimate black child. Bridget’s father lost the race.
Since then, she has come into the spotlight a few more times; in 2008 at the Republican National Convention, she appeared for the first time in public as John’s daughter, and in March 2019 before John’s death, she spoke ill about the current President Donald Trump, and his attacks on her father. This made her a star with some politicians and supporters of her late father.
Bridget stands at 5ft 4ins (1.64m) tall, while she weighs approximately 180lbs ~ 82kgs, and her vital statistics are 36-34-44, and bra size is 36B. She has black hair and dark brown eyes.

John Sidney McCain III was born on the 29th August 1936 in Coco Solo, Panama Canal Zone, (then) USA, which is a Naval Air Station; his father was John S. McCain Jr., who passed away in 1981, and Roberta nee Wright. John was the middle child, with an older sister Sandy and a younger brother Joe. Both his father and grandfather were US Naval Academy graduates, reaching four-star admiral rank. Throughout his youth, John moved a lot across the US, following his father in his naval career, and because of this attended 20 schools, before the family settled in Northern Virginia.
He matriculated from Episcopal High School in 1954, and entered the US Naval Academy, graduating in 1958.
Military Service
Following his graduation, John became a naval aviator, having attended two and a half years of training at Pensacola. He was assigned to control ground-attack aircraft and desired for a combat assignment. When he turned 30 his first combat mission started, in Operation Rolling Thunder during the Vietnam War. In July 1967 John was there during the USS Forrestal fire, and managed to escape his burning jet, while also trying to help a pilot escape with him, but the bomb exploded and John suffered injuries to his legs and chest.
Following the demise of USS Forrestal, he was posted to the USS Oriskany. In October the same year, John was captured by the North Vietnamese while on a bombing mission, shot down over Hanoi and sustaining major injuries when he ejected from his aircraft.
He spent nearly six years as a prisoner of war, during which time he was tortured and left with severe injuries body, unable to lift his arms over his head until the end of his life. John spent eight more years in the Navy before retirement as a captain, following which John moved to Arizona, where his political career began.

John entered the US Senate in 1987, and until his death held various positions. He was the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee among others. He participated in two presidential campaigns, in 2000 and 2008, but lost both times, first time to Bush, and then to Barack Obama.
John was married two times; his first wife was Carol Shepp from 1965 until 1980. Before their divorce, John met Cindy Hensley with whom he started a romantic relationship, and asked Carol to grant him a divorce.
Carol was in bad health after suffering a car accident years prior, and their children were against it, and didn’t talk to John for several years. Carol accepted the divorce request, and received several estates and payments as a settlement. He married Cindy on the 17th May 1980, and the two remained married until his death.
John passed away on the 25th August 2018, having been diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017; he was under the treatment until the day before his death. The family announced on the 24th August 2018 that he would no longer be treated for cancer, and he died the following day.
