According to Drake, the school was ‘not by any means, the easiest school to go to,’ when taking the neighborhood’s economic status into account.
At school, Drake was bullied for his race and religious beliefs. He decided that school was taking too much time away from pursuing his acting career, so he dropped out. He eventually matriculated from high school in October 2012, as he regretted not completing his high school education.

The album’s lead single, “Hotline Bling,” received Grammy Awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance, and peaked at number two on the Hot 100.
“One Dance” was the second single off the album, and it became Drake’s first number-one single as a lead artist, and topped the music charts in various countries. In 2016, he led both the Billboard 200 and Billboard 100 charts for the same eight weeks.
His double album, “Scorpion,” was released in 2018, and broke multiple streaming records. The album houses his Grammy Award-winning number-one single, “God’s Plan,” as well as other number-one hits “In My Feelings”, and “Nice for What.” Drake is listed as one of the world’s best-selling music artists, having reputedly sold over 170 million albums, and has been ranked by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the world’s highest-certified digital singles artist.
