The couple has been praised for the positive depiction of their relationship through these videos.

Max grew up in a Jewish family with heritage from his father’s side and his mother converting to the religion. At a young age, he developed a strong love for performance and music.

His career began in 2008 when he became an understudy for a musical called “13”, and played four roles during its year-long run. He also showed the capability for modeling and was involved in a campaign for Dolce & Gabbana, which saw him work alongside Madonna. In 2010, while still a high school student, he was awarded the YoungArts Theater award given to aspiring high school artists.

This led to him becoming a lead singer of the group Witchita, with which he released a single.

He then joined Hoodie and Fall Out Boy in the Boys of Zummer Tour, and was then featured in the program “Today”. During this time, he released the single “Gibberish” before working with Noah Cyrus for the single “Team”. The following year, he released another album called “Hell’s Kitchen Angel”, which saw him produce the double-platinum hit “Lights Down Low” which was his breakthrough into the mainstream music crowd. He continued releasing more music, including “Love Me Less” in 2019, and that year he was also recognized by Billboard as the top Emerging Artist.

Personal Life

In late-2016, Max announced through the social media site Instagram that he had married Emily Cannon in April of that year. It is not known if either of them converted to the religious beliefs of the other.

Cannon has mostly been supporting her husband, both in his music releases and online through social media. She is a big advocate for mental health awareness, and the self-love movement, using her increasing fame to help attract others through her brand called the Empoweress. She is known to be a big fan of pastel colors like her husband, with both of them shown wearing vibrant colors of blue, purple and yellow in their photos as well as their videos.
